Tradition, Ritual, Community Exhibition July 2026

The exhibition opened on 10 July and closed on August 1, 2026.

The exhibition invited artists to draw on their own lives and explore what tradition, ritual, and community mean to them, expressing those reflections through visual storytelling. Some of the works featured were created during a printmaking workshop led by master printmaker and artist Dian Darmansjah.

This event is part of our long-term vision to establish a cultural facility for the region — encompassing a Keeping Place, museum, art gallery, theatre, workshop spaces and gallery shop. We envision a place that celebrates our region and its artists, attracts visitors, and reinvigorates our community. We are confident that an Arts and Cultural Precinct in Tully will deliver lasting benefits to communities across the Cassowary Coast, enhancing liveability, wellbeing, and the rich cultural life that already exists here.
